About Us

María Pérez Manrique is the Senior Partner of the firm Real(i)ty & Law. She holds a Masters in Law and BA’s in both Law, and in Translation and Interpreting, all degrees from the University of Málaga. She is a practicing lawyer and member of the bar association of Málaga.

After completing her Translation and Interpreting studies, she worked for several years as a translator specialized in software and computing. One day, and completely by chance, she was offered the opportunity to work in a law firm located in Marbella. This is how she came into contact with the legal field, and how her late but unconditional love for this discipline was born.

Combining work, studies, and family responsibilities, she earned her degree in Law, completed her MS studies and obtained the necessary professional qualifications for the practice of law. She has over 15 years of experience in the fields of Real Estate, Urban Planning, Inheritance, and Tax Law and, despite this, she continues to learn something new every day.

On a personal level, she is the mother of two children who are her inspiration and for whom she tries to be a better person every day. She has lived in Germany and in the United States, a country where she keeps close family ties and where she travels every time is possible.

She likes to believe that —even though you can’t change the direction of the wind—, you can always adjust the sails in order to get where you want to go. And she can’t think of anything better to do in her free time than meeting and chatting with friends, holding a glass of wine.
